Mary Koppes / Petersburg Pilot

The appointment of Debra K. Thompson as Borough Clerk was unanimously approved by the Assembly. She will receive an annual salary of $68,000 and will begin work in her new role on March 1, 2015. Thompson began working for the then-City of Petersburg Public Works in 2005 and has served as the deputy clerk since Jan. 2010. She replaces current Borough Clerk Kathy O'Rear who is retiring in March after 14 years of service in Petersburg.
