On Saturday, April 11, the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department held a family activity day for Petersburg families. Children got the chance to climb inside fire trucks and ambulances, and activities included learning how to shoot a fire hose, a walk through the Wrangell smoke trailer, EMS lessons and more. The fire department estimated that about 200 kids participated.
