Artist Doris Olsen (left) and Clausen Museum Director Brittany Zenge stand in front of the new Discovery Center. Local carpenter Ty Cummins designed the structure which includes draw pulls made from alder trees, moose bone, whale vertebrae and deer antlers. Inside are displays exploring the animals, flora and fauna of the island and local aquatic systems.
