The building is to be erected on the south thirty feet of what is known as the Kinch lot, on Main street extension, near the bridge. The purchase of the site from S. L. During the ANB/ANS Grand Camp Convention held in Wrangell, ANS Grand Camp officer Mary A. Brown paid tribute to Malcolm J. Miller, AKA "Jay" by giving him a standing ovation. During last year's convention he was asked to design a bracelet for the Grand Camp Convention in memory of Ruby Smith who is the mother of Mary A. Brown. Ms. Smith was born in Wrangell. He did not complete the order, due to his illness but his wife Mary Katasse-Miller donated a Frog bracelet to the Grand Camp Convention....

September 2, 1915 – Plans for the proposed Petersburg-Scow Bay throughfare were discussed last evening at a special meeting of the Commercial Club by Messrs. Hayes and Zug of the road commission for Alaska. They stated that $2,500 was available for the project, and favored the using of this fund toward the establishment of a permanent road.
