The Mitkof Dance Troupe (MDT) put on three performances of The Nutcracker to packed houses in Wright Auditorium last weekend. Some 141 dancers from toddlers to teens danced in the show, which has become an every-other-year holiday tradition in Petersburg. It reflects great credit on the publisher, Lynn W. Miller. The ownership has been reported as being between the bank and a saloonkeeper of the town. Borough Manager Steve Giesbrecht gave the following report to the Assembly at Monday’s regular meeting: Breakfast with Santa is Sat., Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. for the whole family. Local radio station KFSK went off the air on Wednesday due to fan-related transmitter damage from weather. According a statement on their Facebook page, the station is awaiting replacement equipment and preparing an alternate transmission line. Regularly schedule programming remained available by streaming online at the station's website and through other providers.
