Viking girls battle Lady Braves

 


Vikings girls basketball started out the competition season with a weekend on the road against a perennial powerhouse, the Lady Braves of Mt. Edgecumbe.

The Petersburg girls have a lot of fresh faces with eight out of the 13 girls traveling to Sitka being freshmen. The Lady Braves, on the other hand, are an experienced team with many girls coming back who played a lot of minutes last year, according to Vikings girls coach Dino Brock.
