Lind donates Christmas tree

City public works employees didn’t need to transport the city’s Christmas tree far this year. The tree was donated by Gerald Lind who lives at the corner of 6th and Gjoa streets.
Lind said of the perfectly shaped tree, “I wanted to let some sunshine into my house,” when asked why he wanted the tree removed.
