The community celebrated Jeanette Ness' retirement from the Petersburg Public Health Center last Friday. Ness has served on the Petersburg Indian Association and Petersburg Medical Center boards and helped launch Northern Night's Theater. Multiple community members congratulated and thanked Ness on her service to the community. Ness also lit the town Christmas during the tree lighting ceremony.
