Vikings win two games at home

The Petersburg Vikings placed third in last weekend's Little Norway Tournament. Petersburg hosted Craig, Ketchikan and Metlakatla.

Head Coach Rick Brock said the Vikings played a solid game Thursday night beating Craig 82-44.

"It was our first home game and everybody was probably a bit nervous but all the players on the team had a chance to get some time on the floor," Brock said.

The Vikings jumped out to an early lead scoring 19 points in the first quarter and continued to dominate throughout the rest of the game.
