Papa Bear's owners Scott Hurtt and Carolyn Hurtt accompany Kara Newman (center) as she shows off her pizza "the Karabean Supreme" which is topped with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, olives, pineapple and bacon. Her winning combination was featured as a Papa Bear's special for a week starting on Jan. 2. Newman and eight others served as pizza protégés during a Pizza 101 class held during Christmas break at the restaurant and sponsored by Parks and Rec.
