One arrested, three suspected, in conjunction with local psilocybin grow operation

 


Petersburg police have been investigating a local commercial psilocybin—hallucinogenic mushroom—grow operation.

So far one of three suspects, 19-year-old Anthony Curtiss, has been arrested and indicted on charges related to the case. Curtiss was arrested on Aug. 28 on three felony charges. The first charge, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 1st Degree/Division IIA, relates to alleged delivery of the psilocybin to a minor who is at least three years younger than Curtiss. The minor in this case is an unnamed 15 year old.
