September 25, 1915 – Fresh-fish shipping was the chief subject of consideration at the regular meeting of the Petersburg Commercial Club on Wednesday evening.

Replies were received from several transportation companies to letters from the club requesting that space for fresh fish be be reserved on all steamers touching at this port. The companies for the most part expressed a willingness to make the reservations, although a couple of them asked that steamers be notified by cable to Juneau or Skagway when shipments awaited them here.
