Petersburg volleyball had a great weekend overall, finishing third at the Juneau Invitational, a Varsity only tournament with tough competition. Head coach Jaime Cabral said the team's effort and performance was the best that he's been a part of since he began coaching in Southeast. And during that tenure he's participated in the tournament every year.
“That's the best I've ever had a team finish before,” Cabral said.
There were eight teams in the tournament, and each game lasts for two sets to 25 points. If there is a tie, point differentials are applied in order to seed the teams.
