Petersburg swimmers traveled to Sitka last weekend for Regionals, and two of the team’s strongest qualified for State this weekend in Anchorage. Izabelle Ith and Ben Higgins each managed to qualify for two events and making the finals on Saturday would be considered a victory, according to head coach Andy Carlisle.

“You never know until you get there, but they should do pretty good,” he says. “If we can crack top eight, that would be awesome.”
