Vikings take second place in Little Norway

The Petersburg boys' basketball team bounced back after an early-tournament defeat to win their next two games and claim second place at the Little Norway Tournament.

Thursday's game with Thunder Mountain was back-and-forth in the first half, with PHS leading 29-26. It was then that the Vikings hit a drought, only scoring four points in the third quarter. They were able to remain within a striking distance of five points, but were ultimately unable to overcome the deficit, losing 40-53.

Stewart Conn led the Vikings with 15 points, while Chase Saviers had 15 for the Falcons.
