The PHS Concert Band and Jazz Band traveled to Anaheim, Calif. on March 16 for the Heritage Music Festival. The bands competed in class 1A, which included schools with attendance under 600 students, and both bands earned a second place finish. Superintendent Erica Kludt-Painter and Christy Ware of Petersburg made the trip to attend the event and show support for the bands. The trip also included a stop at Disneyland and an excursion to Huntington City Beach. Students making the trip included Eva Lenhard (back row, left to right), Jeremey Randrup, Hannah Pfundt and Kelsa Sperl.
