On September 16 The Alaska Recreation and Parks Association presented their annual awards. Local resident Sally Dwyer was presented with the Distinguished Service award, Outlook Park was given the Facility Excellence Award, and the Petersburg Chamber of Commerce was recognized with the Outstanding Organization Award.
