Earlier this week, the borough received a letter alleging improper disposal of waste on a property

outside of Service Area 1, according to borough

manager Steve Giesbrecht. A copy of the undated

and unsigned letter was also allegedly sent to

the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.
