June 7, 1918 Ed. Report: The fact that all of the Eighth-grade pupils of the Petersburg school have successfully and satisfactorily passed the territorial examination given by the commissioner of education throughout Alaska for the first time, and in view of the fact that one of these has taken the entire eight grades in the schools of Petersburg, also that many failures have been reported elsewhere, gives us reason to be proud of our pupils and grateful to our past and present teaching faculty.
