The borough assembly, on Monday, failed to approve the funding of assembly member Jeff Meucci’s travel to Southeast Conference to advocate for himself and Petersburg in September.

Meucci was chosen by the assembly at the Aug. 6 assembly meeting to be Petersburg’s nomination for a vacant seat on the Southeast Conference board of directors.
