Safety and self-esteem speaker Retro Bill addressing parents and children in the Mitkof Middle School auditorium on Thursday. Through humor, props and imagination, Retro Bill was able to teach the kids how to feel comfortable in their bodies, follow the Golden Rule and not let bullies affect their self-esteem. Retro Bill spoke to students on Thursday and Friday and held a community show Thursday night. He was invited to Petersburg by Officer Jared Popp who saw him at a convention in Florida. "Yesterday is history," said Retro Bill as he ended the evening. "It's a memory. Tomorrow is only a promise. Today is a gift, which is why it's called the present."
