Jim Edgars was spotted Oct. 12 bringing his float house back from the Stikine River to be pulled out of the water for the winter. He towed it with his skiff for 4.5 hours from Ideal Cove to Scow Bay. Edgars built he float house about six years ago with the help of Bill Neumann. The two used the base of a herring skiff and cut the house off then added a 10' x 20' cabin and a 6' deck off the back. Edgars also built an additional floating deck for more room and seating.
