Lady Vikings lose one, win one

Kennedy Conn reaches for a rebound before her Lady Panther opponent grabs the ball. Once she got her footing, Conn went on to make a basket and score for the Lady Vikings in the fourth quarter on Saturday.

The Lady Vikings were 1-1 after two home games against Craig on Friday and Saturday.

In the first quarter of Friday's game, the Lady Vikings scored 12 points, but they still found themselves five points behind the Lady Panthers by the end of the quarter. There was a bit of a back-and-forth between the two teams that persisted through the second quarter, but Petersburg went into half time down 20-26. The third quarter ended with Petersburg closing the gap by two points with a score of 33- 37. The Lady Vikings were able to pull ahead of Craig in the fourth quarter until the last 4.5 minutes...
