Petersburg Pilot -

All 15 students on Petersburg High School's track and field team qualified for State after competing in the regional tournament in Juneau over the weekend.

Even though all the students qualified for State, only five will actually compete in Palmer this weekend. Head Coach Tyler Thain said it can be a bit expensive traveling to Palmer and the students have to miss several days of school during final exams. Additionally, some of the students only qualified for State in one or two events.
