Setting up the Fireworks show

The fireballs that get launched into the sky are called creamoras. A stainless steel liner is placed at the bottom of a bucket that is filled with black powder to aim the explosion upwards. According to Assistant Fire Chief Dave Berg, the creamoras don't make a noise, but since residents like to hear a loud boom when they see a fireball shoot up into the sky, a concussion mine is fired at the same time. Residents see the fireball and hear the concussion mine and associate sight with sound.
