The borough assembly approved a resolution on Friday increasing the millage rate in service area one to 12.3 mills in response to Gov. Mike Dunleavy's decision to veto 50 percent of the School Bond Debt Reimbursement funding.
The millage rate is the amount per $1,000 of a property's assessed value that is used to calculate taxes within the borough.
