People of all ages were seated with a hammer in hand, chipping away at rocks in hopes of finding a garnet at Sandy Beach during the Rainforest Festival. Sal Gangialosi, owner of the Bella Vista Garnet Mine, breaks apart rocks in search of garnets on Saturday.
