Close to 600 rubber ducks flow down Hammer Slough in Petersburg Rotary Club's annual duck regatta. Rotary raised a total of $5,700 and sold 570 tickets for the rubber duck race, which Rotary President Bennett McGrath said is a new record. Rotary will get about $1,800 of the proceeds, which will go towards its youth exchange program and other local projects. First place winner Jacob Braun won $1,710. The second place winner was Aaron Hankins who took home $1,140. Joe Viechnicki won third place and $570. The fourth through tenth place winners won $20 consolation prizes.
