Julie Walker stops traffic on 5th St. and Excel St. as students from Rae C. Stedman Elementary School walk to Serendipity Childcare Center on Wednesday. This week, Partners in Education is hosting a walk and bike to school week. Volunteer crossing guards are stationed at five busy intersections that students cross after school. Elementary school students received a reflective bracelet and reflectors for their bikes.
