A search of the records of births and deaths in the office of Commissioner Perkins shows that during the year of 1920 there were 25 children born in Petersburg and 7 persons died. In addition there were several children born in other towns whose parents reside in Petersburg but who were temporarily absent from this city, and of whom there is no record in the Petersburg office.
