Several Coast Guard personnel will be in Petersburg Feb. 8 - 11 to conduct dockside safety exams on commercial fishing vessels. Sign up at the harbormaster’s office for the free exams. Vessels passing their exam will be issued a decal that is good for two years. Prior to the exam, visit www.fishsafewest.info, to create a customized checklist of federal requirements for the vessel.
