The Petersburg Elks Lodge raised nearly $47,000 for the Tagaban family in a series of fundraising events. After subtracting the cost of food and other supplies for the fundraisers, the Elks Lodge signed over a check totaling $42,360 to the Tagaban family. The check was presented to Marty Massin, a representative of the family, at the Elk's Lodge on Feb. 4. Other organizers were present as well.
