Nikolai Wendel has taken over as plant manager at OBI Seafoods, bringing 13 years of cannery experience with him.

He arrived in town in late January, and following a two week quarantine, began transitioning into the role of plant manager. Wendel is taking over from longtime plant manager Patrick Wilson who will be retiring this summer.
