Plans are being laid by the Petersburg Fire Department for the celebration of the 4th of July this year in Petersburg. Tentative plans have been made, but nothing definite can be announced until the finance committee has called upon the business people of the town, which will be in the next few days. Committees appointed to have charge of the celebration are composed of the following chairmen: Sports, C. E. Swanson; Finance, T.S. Elsemore; Advertising, M.S. Perkins; Dance, J.T. McBride; Decorations, Pete Jelle.
