Photography and art pieces submitted by Petersburg residents to the 52nd Annual Southeast Alaska State Fair are being featured at the library until the end of the month.

The fair was held July 29 - August 1 in Haines, Alaska and saw many exhibits from Petersburg win awards.

"It's fun to see what people create around the region and see people from different towns," said local artist Josef Quitslund. "It's a good way to connect with the greater region."

The fair was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, and participation was limited this year.
