September 30, 1921

The big motor ship Culburra was in port early this week and loaded 19,600 cases of salmon at the plant of the Mitkof Island Packing Company. The Culburra is one of eight motor vessels formerly owned by the Commonwealth of Australia but is now of American registery. She is equipped with two Winston-Diesel engines of 500 horsepower each.
