19 first-place finishes in Viking Swim Club's first meet in two years

The Viking Swim Club traveled to Ketchikan on December 10 for its first meet in over two years.
It was Scott Burt's first opportunity to travel to a meet as head coach of the team which he said was an overwhelmingly positive experience.
"I know for the kids that went as well, it was so nice to finally be able to travel and have head-to-head competition with swimmers across the state of Alaska," Burt said.
The team has not been able to travel in the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic and though it had planned to host the November Rain meet earlier this year, it was canceled due...
