To the Editor:

We wanted to take a moment to thank the staff at Joy Janssen Clinic, particularly Dr. Hess, as well as the radiologists, medical technicians, and Rexall Drug, for their diligent care last week. Their thoughtfulness and professionalism made the heartbreak of miscarriage easier to bear.

We also wanted to thank our community for all the ways they have shown support in this difficult time. On dark winter days it can be easy to daydream about all the places we’d like to go, but on the darkest of them all, we know there’s no...
