Blue ice blooms

Glacial ice came flowing out of LeConte Bay this week. This jagged beauty grounded near the mouth of the bay and cast its blue reflection on Easter morning. Ice dotted the northern shoreline of Mitkof Island, and sizeable ice bergs were seen riding the tide quite a ways into the Wrangell Narrows.
