Volunteers with the Elks Lodge in Petersburg dyed well over a thousand eggs and hid them all around Sandy Beach Park. Dozens of kids accepted the open invitation and at high noon on Sunday the hunt was on. Some of the eggs were wrapped in gold foil and could be turned in for cold hard cash.
