Petersburg election worker Sue Flint signs as witness as a 2022 Special Primary Election By-Mail ballot gets dropped at the Municipal Building on Wednesday. Petersburg election workers are available 11 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, through June 10th at the Absentee Voting location in the Municipal Building. For those wanting to cast their vote in person, needing a witness signature on their ballot, or registered voters who didn't receive their ballot in the mail, the election workers can help. The sealed and signed ballots get bagged up and mailed up to the Division of Elections each afternoon. Votes cast in this Special Primary Election must be postmarked by election day, Saturday, June 11th.
