Two months after former Fire/EMS/SAR Director Sandy Dixson retired, the Petersburg Borough is restarting its push to hire a new director.

The borough held panel interviews on Wednesday and Thursday for the six candidates up for the position—including four current Petersburg residents.

Following the interviews the candidate pool will be narrowed down to two who will progress to another round of interviews and a possible meet and greet with community members.
