In the Petersburg District Court, Magistrate Judge Rachel Newport presided over an arraignment proceeding for charges of Driving Under the Influence and refusing to submit to a chemical test. The defendant, Anthony Curtiss, entered a not guilty plea and a representation hearing was set for September 22. A trial call was set for November 16 with a trial scheduled for the week of the 28th.
