Mitkof Middle School held a Community Service Day last Friday which saw about 100 students among 10 groups volunteer around town including in the school garden, with Humanity in Progress's food drive, at the Bojer Wikan Fisherman's Memorial Park, and at the Children's Center according to MMS Language Arts Teacher Beau Ward.
