The sails of the Viking Ship Valhalla loom above the waves of people along main street, with newlyweds Aaron Phillips and Carolyn Kvernvik at the bow and Valkyries Robyn Cardenas and Julie Spigelmyre marching alongside. The sails on the ship were freshly remade over the winter in Petersburg, commissioned from Suzy Young and her company Southeast Alaska Upholstery and Sewing Services by the Sons of Norway Hall.
