Kinder Skog kids filled 100 food bags for Humanity in Progress last week to distribute to food insecure community members. The Skoggies have been filling bags every couple weeks for HiP since 2021 thanks to grant funding from various sources including ARPA and the Rasmuson Foundation. Food bags are typically filled with a breakfast item, a protein snack, a dinner item, fruit item, and a treat. Sometimes the Skoggies also write cards or jokes to include in the bags.
