The Petersburg School District said they are confident in the safety of students and staff at school, following a credible threat made by a student last Thursday.
The school responded to the threat with an investigation in cooperation with law enforcement.
The Petersburg Police Department told the Pilot there is no present danger to the school.
“We evaluated the threat and … we don’t see it as a threat to the students or to the public,” said PPD Chief Jim Kerr.
