Petersburg High School’s varsity volleyball team played through their second set of conference games in Haines last weekend.

Keeping up their dominant streak, the young PHS squad went five and one in a series of best of three matches, showing off some new defensive techniques and beating the team that held them back from a perfect record in the first phase of conference games.

“They were a little bit more confident this time around with how they're playing,” said head coach Jaime Cabral.
