November 23, 1923 – the local Post American Legion has been busy getting its new club rooms in shape for opening. These rooms will also be used as Scout headquarters and to house the new community library which the Legion is sponsoring. The need of a library in our town has long been felt. The Post urgently requests that if you have any books that you have finished with – and every home should have some – give same either to Mr. Locken or to the librarian, H. H.
