Lady Vikings drop two close games to Wrangell

Despite having a rough start to the season, Petersburg High School’s Lady Vikings are on the road to improvement after a set of close games in Wrangell last weekend.

The team wasn’t able to pick up a win, but their time spent in practice tightening up on their offense and set plays clearly paid off in both games.

“Both games came down to one possession. We had the ball at the end of the game with the chance to either win or tie the game,” said coach Matt Pawuk.
